Tony Jaa's The Protector 2 NEW Poster

Directed by Prachya Pinkaew
Starring Tony Jaa, RZA, Mum Jokmok, Marrese Crump, Jija Yanin Wismitanan, Ratha Pho-ngam, Kazu Patric Tang, Kalp Hongratanaporn and David Ismalone

Boss Suchart is the influential owner of a major elephant camp. When he was murdered in his own home – the killer delivered three fatal blows on his body – all evidence points to KHAM (Tony Jaa), who was present at the crime scene and was seen with the victim the moment before he died. Kham is forced to run as the police launches a pursuit. Meanwhile, the twin nieces of Boss Suchart (Jija Yanin Wismitanan and Teerada Kittisiriprasert) are out for revenge. But luck is on Kham’s side when he runs into Sergeant MARK (Mum Jokmok), an Interpol agent sent to Thailand on a secret mission.

As Kham is hunted by several parties, he’s also desperately searching for KHON, his elephant, whose disappearance is involved with Boss Suchart’s death. In another twist, Kham is drawn into an underground fighting ring run by LC (RZA), a crime lord who’s obsessed with collecting top-class martial artists from around the world. LC’s fighters are branded only by numbers, such as the lethal, beautiful TWENTY (Ratha Pho-ngam) and the diabolical NO.2 (Marrese Crump). These fighters are ordered to defeat and capture Kham for a special mission that LC has in mind.

A sequel of the global smash-hit “Tom Yam Goong” (or “The Protector”), TYG2-3D is an extreme fight movie, an endlessly intense, nerve-racking film full of fists, elbows, kicks and daredevil stunt scenes and amazingly choreographed fighting moves that will pump hot blood through the body of all action fans. All in the in-your-face 3D spectacle!

EXPENDABLES 3 Finds its director... down under!

In a series of tweets that excited the fans, Sylvester Stallone had made it clear recently that, after Mel Gibson dropped out, his next idea was some new blood. To find someone hungry, like Stallone was when he started out, someone new.
Well it looks like the search is over and the new blood, who will be thrust into the explosions, guns, earth, grit, gore and quips, will be Australian Patrick Hughes!
His first film, Red Hill (2010), was the story of a young, naïve sheriff, who is wounded in the city and decides to move to a small quiet, outback town only, of course, to have the hardest criminal of them all break out of prison and start bumping off his police force.
Trailer for Red Hill
Well we here, that's The Doc & The Kid, trust Stallone and although it would've been epic to see Gibson, John Woo or even Stallone himself direct, I think him giving this newbie a chance is just awesome and inspiring.

Stallone tweeted:
I would Direct it myself , but I want my HANDS free to fight!!!

Found an EXCITING director... Things sometimes happen for a Reason....Okay?

Rent RED HILL. Great Movie!! 500,000 budget 20 day shoot, Amazing - ROCKY was 850,000 and 25 days , Good OMEN!!!

Hey , Everyone should go look at Patrick Hughes short film on U-Tube It is called SIGNS . It will move you in a GOOD WAY. You will LOVE it!

It's a good omen that you endorse the guy, Sly, that's all we need - now get shooting the damn thing sharpish!

Thank you to Snoog from WAFU who alerted us to this news!

Do the Expendables have a brave heart?

So how do people feel about Mel Gibson now then? Do people still loathe him? or has his recent turns in Edge of Darkness, Get The Gringo and the upcoming Machete Kills softened audiences and reminded them of his awesome action history?
It is a question that Sylvester Stallone seems to want answering. Taking to Twitter a few hours ago he wrote:
What about Mel Gibson directing EXPENDABLES FIVE???
and then
No , I was kidding about , but seriously , what about Mel Gibson directing EXPENDABLES 3? Opinions anyone ? Curious.....
Well so are we. We want to know! What do you think?
Personally, while I am 99.9% sure that, if I was in a room with the man, we wouldn't get on or agree on very much, I think it would be a very interesting idea.
Gibson has a great action star heritage, his directed films, while not exactly action, are big enough in scope that he could take on an Expendables film, he is also a very successful director with his films having high grosses and I, also, wouldn't be adverse to him having a cameo either.

The Expendables films are all about nostalgia and Gibson is a huge part of that 80s/90s action landscape (like an Aussie Bruce Willis almost) and also I am not the biggest fan of Simon West's directing of part 2. I think if they don't get a surprise, interesting director choice like a John Woo, a Mel Gibson or even someone weird like a James Glickenhaus then Sly himself should get back into the Director's chair. He's the best man for the job. Definitely.

We want to hear from you though - are we ready to forgive Gibbo or not?

FIRST NEW Hummingbird Trailer

or View it Here - http://uk.movies.yahoo.com/video/exclusive-hummingbird-trailer-121836348.html

Earlier in the week we brought you the NEW Hummingbird poster and it looked super cool. Now, hot on its heels, comes the first official trailer and it just blew my socks off. I am hoping this is the film that finally stops people's negative tongues flapping towards Statham and wins them over. This just looks amazing. He looks great, the plot looks awesome and drenched in emotion and London hasn't looked this awesomely gritty and neon soaked since Bob Hoskins in Mona Lisa.

Let us know what you think!
Us, personally, we're going to be there opening night! (and the day after that too!)
